MLB Mock Draft: Way Too Early
There is no getting around the fact that the MLB Mock Draft has become a popular topic of discussion this offseason. The reason being, teams are trying to get a better understanding of their organizational rosters and what they have in mind for the rebuild.
Some teams are already beginning to make their selections, while others are still waiting on additional information. With that in mind, it's time to take a look at how some teams may be preparing for the upcoming season.
One team that is likely looking to use an early pick in order to improve their squad is the Boston Red Sox. They currently sit in last place in the division with a record of 73-90. This year was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the team, but they have not been able to provide enough wins or players who can provide leadership on and off the field.
1) NFL Mock Draft: Way Too Early
It has been well-known for quite some time now that the NFL Draft is one of the earliest in the year and it has even gotten so early that some have even started to mock draft players before their teams have even made their picks. 2) College Football Mock Draft: Way Too Early
College football fans around the world are glued to their televisions this past weekend as they wait for Thursday night's opening round of the NCAA college football playoffs. As the top prospects in each sport get ready to step on the field, it's interesting to note which teams are choosing to stay quiet and whether or not they'll take a chance on a player who may not have a bright future in the NFL.
Mock drafts for both the National Football League (NFL) and American Football Conference (AFC) have become popular over the years as players from all levels of football start arriving at campuses across America. However, there is no guarantee that any given player will be selected in one of these mock drafts. In fact, many times teams end up taking a chance on talented players who may not have a long-term plan in the NFL.
3) NBA Mock Draft: Way Too Early
The NBA Mock Draft is a joke and it's coming earlier than expected. The draft is supposed to start on April 26th but the draft lottery has already given us three rookies that are playing in the NBA. One could argue that the lottery was a bad decision by president Donald Trump because it has been proven that draftees don't always perform well in the lottery. Another reason why the draft is happening so early is because the teams have not decided who they want to protect. They might be considering trading up to get a player like Lonzo Ball or Josh Richardson.
4) MLB Player Rankings: Way Too Early
The MLB player rankings are way too early and Mock drafts should not be based off 2021 players. The top three prospects in the draft are not even close to being ready to play professional baseball.
5) NHL Player Rankings: Way too early
After months of speculation and anticipation, the NHL fraternity has finally released their top 25 player rankings for the upcoming 2023 MLB season. The list is headlined by Hall of Fame MVP Giancarlo Stanton at number one, followed by superstars like Max Scherzer and Aaron Judge at 2nd and 3rd respectively. However, there are a few key names that could potentially jump up on the list in the next year or so.
1) Giancarlo Stanton - After barely missing out on the MVP award last year due to an arm injury, Stanton will be looking to take his game to another level this season. He's already a household name in America and will only continue to grow into one of the most feared players in all of baseball.
