However, it only gained recognition as an emerging art style around the world after famous Scandinavian designers like Hans Wegner and Henning Koppel won notable international awards beginning in the 1950s. Today, Scandinavian style is one of the most popular styling techniques in commercial and residential spaces, with many pieces of furniture, decorations and lamps reflecting its guiding principles and charm. Scandinavian floor lamps mostly use monochromatic and neutral palettes, with some having bright, vibrant colors added as accents. Additionally, the Scandi style likes to incorporate nature into its structures, so expect wood, cotton, wool, rattan, and stones in many Scandi floor lamps. Scandinavian style VS others
The Scandi style is a distinguished artistic conception practiced by designers for architecture, fashion, urban planning and lighting.
